Adult with autism in need of guidance with MATE CRIME

Hello all, I’m writing on behalf of a close friend(with his consent) 30year old male with diagnosis of ASD, ADHD and MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS. He’s had a rough up bringing with the only family member he has to kick him out onto the streets at 16years old. Despite the struggles of everyday life he become a father 6years ago to be told  he’s not good enough to be Involved. He bravely went through terrible court battles despite being on the child’s birth certificate he was not granted access by the mother. Court granted him access through a contact centre and they praised him as father. Hitting a low after all he’s been through and the abuse he’s suffered…he was targeted by the child’s mother and the one family member who disowned him at 16years old to sign over all his parental rights with the promise of regular access to be in his child’s life. The promise was a fraud as the mother could not find any other ways to prevent contact.
He has always maintained child support payments each month and still on going…but no where to turn to for advice, guidance and of course reassurance. He’s been mislead, deceived and treated as if he’s a criminal(no criminal convictions what so ever) surely this is wrong!! Seeking urgent help please.

  • well yeah if you sign over parental rights you sign over any right to see the child... also if hes signed over parental rights that also means he doesnt need to pay child support at all, but yeah his ex wouldnt have informed him of that little bit wouldnt she? lol if hes signed over parental rights then nowt much can really be done, hes signed over his rights to be a parent and cant get that back..... he can stop paying child support though and say they dont get child support if he has no parental rights... dont give them something when they give him nothing in return... if they want his money they should give him access, if they arnt giving him access he should stop paying them.
