Terrorism! So now Brexit Gov Says Autistics are Terrorists

…..Autism and radicalisation – A “staggeringly high” number of people with autism are referred to the government’s anti-radicalisation Prevent programme, according to Jonathan Hall QC, the independent reviewer of terrorism legislation. In a speech, Hall is to acknowledge “a very real and respectable fear that making any sort of link will lead to stigma … Is the use of strong powers to detect and investigate suspected terrorism in children justified? I believe it is because of the potential risk to the general public. But is the criminal justice outcome the right one in all cases?” Clare Hughes, criminal justice manager at the National Autistic Society, said: “The vast majority of the 700,000 autistic people in the UK are law-abiding” and called for sensitive, accurate and balanced” media reporting. Marking the 16th anniversary of the 7/7 terrorist attacks that killed 72 people, Hall will say the greatest risk remains an Islamist attack but the most dynamic new category is defined by investigators as mixed, unclear or uncertain (MUU) ideology, a category that does not prescribe to one specific doctrine…..

  • This is just another example of the normies labelling what they don’t understand as sinister and dangerous. Joke about killing your boss = has a hard day. Joke about killing your boss deadpan with a glint in your eye = psyco. Only the real difference in some cases is autism and the way they can’t read us.

if you spend your life feeling isolated guess what you’re going to root for the underdog. If you feel society has rejected you, has no place for you, the idea of society collapsing may seem attractive.

And if you voice these thoughts, maybe tell a silly joke, suddenly they’re painting you as a terrorist. But as you see there is no real ideology professed by many autistic people. They want the world to change but they often aren’t clear on the how.

violence as a tool for change only really works if you’ve got a political movement ready to swoop in and negotiate when people are ready to talk. Unless you’re contemplating the kind of change that leads to full blown geniside.

autistic people are just angry and sometimes In are anger we can’t help saying how we wish the world that harms us harm. But it’s no more substantial than the guy who mumbles about how he’d like to kill his boss on a Friday night.

and ofcourse so many of us are avid collectors, especially of esoteric knowledge. Poisons, explosives, firearms. Why would anyone be researching them? Curiosity is enough reason if you’ve got an autistic mind and it’s caught your interest.

and that’s before you consider all the autistic people who have a more general interest in the military. Or the curious hackers. That’s all the reason they need to be downloading ‘normal’ people wouldn’t.

So I leave you with this old bbc broadcast that expresses how almost all of us have felt at least once but that would now probably get you reported to the ‘prevent’ program. https://youtu.be/o3rnC712MEw
