Moving/life changes

Hi I’m 24 male undiagnosed but I am going to seek diagnosis soon. I’m going through a lot of change right now and I’m finding it so overwhelming. I’m transitioning from university to going into work, while also moving to a whole other city to a new place. I’m finding it really tough and had a big meltdown yesterday where I just felt like I’m so out of control of everything happening and the changes in routine are really stressful to me and giving me so much dread and anxiety. I felt exhausted this morning. Everyone around me is telling me I must be happy and excited but I just feel such fear and that everything is out my control.

Does anyone have any tips about changes in life like moving house, getting a new job etc and how they managed the situation? Thank you.

Are you able to do just one change at a time to get used to it and settle before introducing the next change?

If you can work out a sequence to the changes, each step will be more manageable for you - and don't rush it.

Are you able to get any help to allow you to get used to the new positions quicker?   a family member to be a chaperone or 'carer' for a little while as you get your bearings?
