What non-stereotypical stims are there?

I stroke my feet against themselves when I am in bed. I knew I did it but didn’t realise it was a stim. I am doing it right now and realised how much I love it. It’s really relaxing.

Wow. Ok. I do the same thing. But it's not because I like it. It's because my feet feel ... I dunno ... Kind of charged up. And it soothes them a bit.

I'm sure that NT people have many things that they hide from the world too, but they might be more unique to them, or socially unacceptable, or harmful or illegal maybe. I think they can be very good at hiding things. Maybe a lot easier for them. 

The things I hide are socially unacceptable to NTs but completely harmless, and I would never judge someone else for having the traits. They are such a deep part of who I am, and probably more just quirky or sometimes would be seen as "juvenile". 

I have been curious about that idea on this thread - clearly 'we' are very much more accepting of our own behaviors and willing to accept it, incorporate into our identities and talk about it. I do wonder what PNT people are hiding, or just wont talk about - or if they don't (or can't) hide anything ...

The main reinforcing message I am getting is that *I* don't really understand other people (ND or PNT ) - and the private behaviors of anyone seem to me to be quite unknowable...

There certainly is a lot of "me too"s on this forum. However, I bet if I went into some random forum about .. I dunno ... Football or something, there would be some different reactions.
