GB News (New British News Network)

*Precision I have no political affiliation. I subscribe to no political dogma or movement. I have highlighted this new news channel as a much needed antidote to the partisan news we are currently subjected to. Will it be free from bias? No, but at least we all get to see the extremes of both sides of the political divide. I get my news from an entirely independant team  who are committed to delivering non-partisan, professional journalism. Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. It's a fearless anti-establishment Youtube show and podcast with contributors from across the political divide. Their aim is to cut through the media bias. Breaking Points Non-Partisan News & Analysis Precision*

Britain's got a new TV network. The new British network has vowed to fight "cancel culture" and reflect voices not heard in the partisan mainstream media and state-controlled BBC. A spokesperson for GB News said its aim was to "puncture the pomposity of our elites in politics, business, media and academia and expose their growing promotion of cancel culture for the threat to free speech and democracy that it is".

Cancel Culture is the term given to left-wing and left-leaning attempts at suppressing of free expression and political diversity by permanently shaming and ostracising individuals who threaten their political and social orthodoxy.

    All news is biased

  • Puff, I get my news from probably the only entirely independant team of journalists available. They bring together reporting from both right and left-leaning journalists who are committed to delivering the news in a non-partisan format. It's called Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar.  Krystal is a member of the Progressive Left, and Saagar is a Social Conservative.

Their aim is to cut through the media bias and stop the skewing of information, by partisan
media outlets on the Left & Right and delivering professional journalism without liberal and conservative bias. Among their regular contributors are both from the Left & the Right, such as campaign managers for Bernie Sanders, Film-maker Michael Moore and renowned dissident Noam Chomsky.

  • Have you considered researching the information yourself rather than rely on facts and figures provided to you by people with an agenda?

The information I used on which to base my opinion on the effects of immigration on the NHS, for example, came from official statistics, not cherry-picked by the Sun or the Independent or whoever else. It's boring, and you have to decide for yourself what to make of the information, but you can at least rely on it being unbiased.

But I'm sure GB News will do that. They're hardly likely to be liars. Like you say, they're not the BBC. They're just run by a man who worked for the BBC for many years.
