Nice hot sunny weather today, so I got an unlimited travel day bus ticket and of I went.
Highlights of the day:
A young lady on the bus was getting sunburnt and asking passengers for sun lotion, I had some in my rucksack so I shared it with her. The poor girl didn't know if she was coming or going, she asked me if this bus was going to Otley Chevon, we had left Otley 10min ago and were approaching Ilkley.
I explored one of my favourite places, Heptonstall woods, down to Hebden Bridge, the rainbow capital of Yorkshire. There I discovered that you don't need a garden to have a garden.
On the way home I went through Halifax bus station, what a dump. All the electronic bus information boards were out of order, the main ones and the individual ones at the stops.
The travel centre was closed, staff shortages? Maybe they decided to take the extended weekend off due to the nice weather.
