My daughter does falconry - it's breeding season - she has over 20 hungry chicks to feed - and soon to be training another Labrador gun-dog.

It's very weird to have a large, powerful wild animal fly free - but decide it prefers to live with you.
Even more weird to have it start to preen you - with a lethal weapon!.
