  • Relaxed a lot this weekend. My temporary management post has come to an end (2 weeks). It's been useful - the extra cash will be handy, and I've been able to be a lot more objective about how I respond and cope with the (seemingly endless) unfocused meetings.

    I'd definitely step up again. There's an insight into things which I had which is proving to be extremely useful and just observing it has been a positive experience (navigating it - now that could be an issue in the future). How I would manage things in a permanent post I'm not so confident about. I cope with sorting issues a lot better than I do supporting people which can knock me sideways -  especially if I'm having one of those overloaded "off-days".

    Given me a lot to think about - If I want to move up I think I'm going to need to focus on a more technical role.
