oh wow that sounds interesting :) i've always wanted to do Acrylic Pouring, i've got a kit on how to do it. i need to try that out soon
yeah ok :) i was going to post a collage i did but i had trouble posting it, i've put them on insta, do i just send a link
I make collages, using colour paper, reflective paper, onto pours of acrzlic and oil-based paints
Sorry that may have seemed rude.
Good effort! Really great thing for supported homes when everyone can get together and of course for the charity. I’ve lived in supported accommodation in the past and found it very isolating so it cheers me to hear about people coming together.
Thanks, do you fancy sharing any of your projects?
i love that :), well done
A few months - helped lockdown #2 go more calmly :) I’m also nearing the end of another project, again a 3’ x 4’ canvas, I’ve finished the written word element (in circles this time) and I’ve just got a figure I need to paint in in oils. How are yours coming along?
...for some reason it’s cut the top third off, but you get the general idea...

Wow - are you able to upload a photo?
Awesome.
oh right what did you make using textured paper scraps,
thats amazing well done :), that cake sounds nice
I’ve worked with collage a lot. I also like mixing collage and then working over them with paint, plaster or basically anything that will stick together, lots of fun. Most recently I’ve created a maze layout collage using particular words that I’ve chosen using the small text out of newspapers. I work on a large scale and 4’ x 3’ and it took approximately 37,000 individual words. It was very calming.
We held the event in the supported home's living area. It was great getting a lot of the residents involved, seeing them happy, meet new faces and be a part of something. I brought along a cake that I made with my neighbours, it was a typical victorian sponge cake and staff supporting the event brought some store-brought cakes to have enough to go around. The most amazing thing was some of the residents baked some beautiful cakes, one cake with a blue, red and icing droplet pattern right around it. It was a lovely event and having that time with the residents.
We raised something around 300+ pounds and was my first Macmillan.
I haven't done collages in years, I used textured paper scraps that you can buy in bundles.
hey thats good to hear :). i am ok thank you, aww yeah thats nice :) how did it go
