I’ve worked with collage a lot. I also like mixing collage and then working over them with paint, plaster or basically anything that will stick together, lots of fun. Most recently I’ve created a maze layout collage using particular words that I’ve chosen using the small text out of newspapers. I work on a large scale and 4’ x 3’ and it took approximately 37,000 individual words. It was very calming.
A few months - helped lockdown #2 go more calmly :) I’m also nearing the end of another project, again a 3’ x 4’ canvas, I’ve finished the written word element (in circles this time) and I’ve just got a figure I need to paint in in oils. How are yours coming along?
