advice on warm light bulbs - all mine are probably bright white...

i've got cfl's, and some led lights... flourescents........... these are all BRIGHT WHITE. does anyone know of any low energy alternatives for these BRIGHT WHITE bulbs? they're like a LOUD NOISE.

sorry for all the shouting, but that's how the lights feel to me. or do people use those energy inefficient incandescents?

i'm thinking of buying colored paper, to shield my light bulbs. currently, i use white paper (because that's what i have).

tysm! happy easter, for those of you so inclined. for those not so inclined, happy sunday, or is it passover on sunday?

  • I strongly prefer the bright white version. When I moved into my flat it had warm white and I was literally falling asleep by 5pm in winter. The bright white makes it much easier to stay up until 7-8pm.

Both are available. On Amazon you just toggle between warm or bright/cool on the product page.

  • I agree with that conclusion, white will keep you up longer than yellow

or it can go to extremes as it often happens with us as I've just found out for myself

I recently bought LED Corn Bulbs, they come in two versions: yellow-warm or white-cold

I had to remove white from bedroom because I coulldn't even sit and relax, I can have it in a kitchen only, everywhere else I use yellow
