advice on warm light bulbs - all mine are probably bright white...

i've got cfl's, and some led lights... flourescents........... these are all BRIGHT WHITE. does anyone know of any low energy alternatives for these BRIGHT WHITE bulbs? they're like a LOUD NOISE.

sorry for all the shouting, but that's how the lights feel to me. or do people use those energy inefficient incandescents?

i'm thinking of buying colored paper, to shield my light bulbs. currently, i use white paper (because that's what i have).

tysm! happy easter, for those of you so inclined. for those not so inclined, happy sunday, or is it passover on sunday?

  • I use incandescents and halogens. Literally cannot stand LEDs - CFLs and fluorescence are incredibly noisy! how do you cope. When I was younger I worked the lighting booth at my school theatre. I've thought about applying proper lighting and diffusion gels to LEDs should need be. A spectrum of colour can shine a variation of white which is easier on the eye. I do have night time flashlights with red and green. One flashlight has 4 colours including blue which is great for reading maps, so using the red, green and blue together is a good alternative in the evening to a solid white or even solid yellow.
