Something I don't get about neurotypicals...

Something that really baffles and annoys me about neurotypicals is that they are so tribal, and they tend to make decisions collectively. Eg they collectively reject people, they collectively have the same hobbies, wear the same clothes etc and they operate in groups. This is something that has always baffled me because I make my own decisions and form my own opinions. I don't understand why neurotypicals are so obsessed with fitting in to a group.

  • I am a Bloke with Asperger's. Having aspirations to get married and have Kids - to honour my Gran's wish to 'Keep the Family Name' - is a massive obstacle. The women around here only care about drinking, talking, TV and running. I switch off from the White Noise of this society.

    You're looking in the wrong places - you're taking NTs face-on - it's not worth it - look around the edges of society - that's where all the interesting people are - the ones who do things differently.
