Asking for diagnosis tomorrow!

I'm telling my GP doctor that I think I'm autistic and going to ask her to refer me to get diagnosed tomorrow :0

I'm really nervous, I'm pretty bad at explaining my feelings (and speaking in general). Any advice/reassurance? I'd love to just show her the document I've written but my doctors surgery is only doing phone appointments, so I need to able to tell her in words!

  • I know I'm late here, but I emailed (I say emailed but it was more like a message system they use through Patient Access) a document with my reasons across to my GP when I requested an appointment. It did turn out to be a good idea anyway because I did get flustered on the phone call and couldn't explain everything I'd already written down.

I hope your appointment went well. :)
