Functionality of this forum ?

Hi, fairly new to the forum and still trying to find my way around so just wondering can someone answer the following concerns ?   :

1. Is there somewhere in the main menu of NAS that takes you directly to this Community/discussion/forum ?

2. I've noticed that if wanting to reply to a discussion there are, most of the time either, no means to do so or, at best you can only reply generally to the OP.

3. Sometimes you can and cannot reply to the OP but there are no means to reply back to individuals because there is no ' reply ' tab showing for either or, or both.

4. There doesn't seem to be a ' Home ' tab to get back to the main discussion/forum/community page after visiting your own profile page or that of others for example.

  • This site is doing my head in now - the weird nested structure, the inability to follow a thread, the site navigation, the reply buttons not appearing - even the ultra-bright 'calm mode' is bugging me.

    Sorry.

    /rant.

    And it's running even slower!

This site is just a functional catastrophe that serves remarkably well as a deterrent for long term community members, as has been stated on another one of the fully working autism focused websites.

I am assuming the Covid thing has seriously reduced the numbers of charitable donations and workers turning up at the NAS, hence things diminishing here and all that. :-(

Understandable but at the same time you would think that a lot more IT volunteers would have more time on their hands or that some Mod reading this would try to put the word out to such people. Or heaven forbids, ask the Gov for some Covid relief to solve the issue on mental health grounds. Somehow I don't think the contributors talking amongst themselves is working so far. Of course we are all very grateful to all involved in making the site work and for the work of volunteers but you can't just focus on the shop front window display if some of the shelves inside the shop are empty or falling down.
