Covid social disapproval psychological attack on us

The psychological attack is being ramped up against those with exemptions from wearing masks as seen recently on the mainstream media who are broadcasting fear into the public by showing the 1% of the 1% of the 1% 97 year old grandma dying only because of COVID else she would have lived until age 100 if it wasn't YOUR FAULT, showing the death rates go up but no bigger picture comparisons which indicate normal levels of deaths.

Sage's behavioural psychologist documents outline the tactics that are being used to get people to "follow the rules". Basically the social disapproval/blame psychology is a very devious and effective way of manipulating people into triggering an emotional response so that they attack others, pressuring everyone into following the rules or face the angry mob.

I am seeing more and more aggressive comments by the general public who want their fellow humans to be fined or taken away and locked up for not wearing a mask. Saying that even those with exemptions should be thrown out of the shop. I live alone and this is the only way I can get my food. I have avoided all other non essential places since masks were introduced which has left me not being able to get any new clothes or a haircut etc due to fear of being challenged about not having a mask. Shops are getting more security guards to intimidate those of us who are exempt from wearing a mask.

I can't wear a mask for a couple of valid reasons and yesterday I was shocked when asked to wear a mask and immediately went into fight or flight mode shouting at the person that I don't need one and that they shouldn't be asking that. I couldn't help the meltdown or control my emotions. Wearing a lanyard is not an option for me because they will still ask, it would just be a label to constantly remind me and let everyone else around me know that I "have something wrong with me" leaving me anxious and depressed.

Is it only a matter of time before we get physically attacked or arrested and taken away by the police for having a disability?

  • We get very mixed messages from the 'experts'.

There are exemptions listed on the government website, plus a downloadable card to show exemption, although it clearly states that it is not essential, so logically an 'I'm exempt' verbal statement should be sufficient.  It also states that proof should not be asked for in a round about way.  So as a result, we get the jeering mob making judgements on those not wearing masks, insisting those who don't are merely 'trying it on' and everyone can wear a mask, those that don't are simply being disobedient according to them.

Most masks seem to be made from leftover material from the underwear factory, so they may not be of much use in stopping transmission of the disease, and do nothing to prevent the main causes of infection which are contact between people and surfaces, and being in a confined space with someone with or carrying the virus.  This is the same for many transmittable diseases, covid, chicken pox, measles, flu for example.  Miasma, or bad air, was thought at one time to transmit diseases such as cholera, black death and bubonic plague, the experts of the day recommended the carrying of posies to sweeten the air and prevent transmission.  But still transmission occurred.  And in the modern context, masks are the equivalent of the posies, they are largely a diversion to the causes of spread and from the statistics daily broadcast are having little effect if any, with more transmission now than there was at the first lockdown when we were told that there was no point in wearing masks!

In among these mixed messages, we are told we should do certain things, such as open windows (on a fixed income, who can afford to warm the air outside?). We are told we can exercise outside, where we are told the risk of infection is miniscule, even none existent.  And yet woe betide anyone who gets in the car for ten minutes to get to the countryside, we are expected to walk round our housing estate if the park is too far away to walk to and should not be out more than an hour.  It takes me nearly half hour to get to my nearest park so could not enjoy the verdant pastures there for long each day.  And we are allowed out to the shop for urgent supplies once per day, so don't forget anything or you will be slapped with a hundred pound fine for forgetting the toilet paper when there is only one sheet left!

I don't deny the virus exists, or that it can have very severe consequences.  But people are dying all the time.  The home is the place where more accidents, both fatal and otherwise occur each year (government statistics).  Following this through, we are more likely to overwhelm the health service at home by staying in than we are with an accident on a short drive to the countryside.  But the excuse used to issue tickets for those slightly out of area in their cars is that the health service could be overwhelmed by accidents.

Then there are other issues from being home.  Many more cases of domestic violence are now occurring.  People are not seeking help for other conditions to covid, the result being cancers are becoming  inoperable and easily treatable medical problems are becoming serious.  People die of covid, it is unpleasant and devastating to their families.  But whenever someone dies, families are devastated, no matter what the cause.  And other diseases which infect people can be equally unpleasant.  But statistics have been manipulated so much now we are led to believe nearly every death that is happening is due to covid.  It isn't.  One percent of the population dies every year - that is 550000 people, over half a million. Covid or not.

Wearing a mask of cloth makes me hyperventilate, the result of a panic attack.  But I have found that I can wear a clear shield with spectacle arms without too much of a problem.  Whether it stops transmission I don't know as it is open at top and bottom, but it satisfies the requirement.  I do have a card to state my exemption, and when I have not worn a mask I have not had a problem.  I do have a sunflower lanyard which seems to have got mixed up in the whole exemption thing, with them being sold on eBay ad exemption indicators which they are not.  But that is the way of the current problem I suppose.  Give people power and it goes to their heads.  Give people responsibility and freedoms and they are abused by a small minority.  And all the time the spread of the virus is increasing if the experts are to be believed.

  • I agree with you completely, in my long conversations discussing the whole thing with others you have touched on a lot of points that I often make. I'm glad that there are still critical thinkers out there.

Most of this whole situation is emotionally driven by the "saving lives" narrative, and so few people can see past that. From my research I don't believe that saving lives is the true objective and I think it is more about money and power. It just saddens me that the propaganda is successfully driving people to attack their own species for not "following the rules"
