Covid social disapproval psychological attack on us

The psychological attack is being ramped up against those with exemptions from wearing masks as seen recently on the mainstream media who are broadcasting fear into the public by showing the 1% of the 1% of the 1% 97 year old grandma dying only because of COVID else she would have lived until age 100 if it wasn't YOUR FAULT, showing the death rates go up but no bigger picture comparisons which indicate normal levels of deaths.

Sage's behavioural psychologist documents outline the tactics that are being used to get people to "follow the rules". Basically the social disapproval/blame psychology is a very devious and effective way of manipulating people into triggering an emotional response so that they attack others, pressuring everyone into following the rules or face the angry mob.

I am seeing more and more aggressive comments by the general public who want their fellow humans to be fined or taken away and locked up for not wearing a mask. Saying that even those with exemptions should be thrown out of the shop. I live alone and this is the only way I can get my food. I have avoided all other non essential places since masks were introduced which has left me not being able to get any new clothes or a haircut etc due to fear of being challenged about not having a mask. Shops are getting more security guards to intimidate those of us who are exempt from wearing a mask.

I can't wear a mask for a couple of valid reasons and yesterday I was shocked when asked to wear a mask and immediately went into fight or flight mode shouting at the person that I don't need one and that they shouldn't be asking that. I couldn't help the meltdown or control my emotions. Wearing a lanyard is not an option for me because they will still ask, it would just be a label to constantly remind me and let everyone else around me know that I "have something wrong with me" leaving me anxious and depressed.

Is it only a matter of time before we get physically attacked or arrested and taken away by the police for having a disability?

  • I feel scared to go anywhere now because of the mask issue. I have even had close friends question me on a really confrontational way about it.

Thankfully we get click and collect from  Tesco once a week and my husband gets any other bits in between.

I don't wear a mask at work (I am a primary teacher) and so far haven't been questioned but I wear the day I do.

It is horrible what people (including people I know) are saying on social media

  • There are many scientific papers which show a weak correlation between transmission of the virus and restrictions such as masks. In reality the virus is more easily spread through touching surfaces (shopping basket handles, pin pads, petrol pumps, door handles, supermarket touch screens) all of which are being touched by many people on a daily basis. Wearing a mask means you are touching your face far more often.

There are also unknown health effects of wearing the mask especially restricting oxygen, breathing bacteria and plastic particles, causing acne + retaining acidity leading to tooth decay.

The point of this post is like you mention, some of us are suffering great anxiety over the issue. It has been set up as a psychological attack and if you read Sage's documents, their intention was to have the angry mob shun and shame all who don't follow the rules to pressure them into doing so or risk receiving abuse. It's working perfectly

  • Kids can't socially distance and it would be an absolute nightmare to wear a mask in class as a lot of kids work on facial gesture. I still people look at people not wearing masks with a mixture of 60% worry for the person and 40% fear you're asymptomatic and passing it about everywhere....it's difficult.
