if you have a very big garden you could live in a caravan in the garden ? this is a semi joke but people do this. eg people living in a caravan on their driveway

The problem with garden tiny living / caravan / van life is the amount of insulation built into the structure - a caravan is typically only 25mm wall thickness - you will freeze! You'd be amazed at the amount of heat energy needed to heat the space and fight off the condensation and damp & mould.
My friend has a van that he goes away in for weekends - he refers to it as a metal tent - not very comfortable but better than canvas.
You really need at least 100mm of foam insulation to feel comfortable.
