  • School has a number of functions - the primary is to educate children.        However there's also the teaching of routine and discipline and self discipline.

Some cultures just do not do home schooling - they wouldn't dream of owning a book so their kids grow up mostly feral and by the time they go to school, they are not there to learn - just disrupt - and most finish school being illiterate and virtually unemployable.   But that's fine if their career is going to be crime, drugs and then jail.

A lot depends on the lifestyle you want for your kids - let them struggle all their lives or educate them to be successful.

    It doesn't suit everyone.
