You Don’t Exist — and Neither Does this Post - a zen approach

how can I be autistic if I don't exist ?

the voice in your head where is it exactly ?,

,, once you realise you cant place it, and realise that you ( the dialogue ),  are just a bunch of thoughts which are temporary,  like all thoughts, then you are considered to be awakened.

Awakened to the fact the ego/inner voice is made up of thoughts there is nothing solid which makes You !

In short, if 'I' dont exist......   how can 'I' be autistic ?

here is a blank square to look at

Actually you do exist. Thought and freewill may not exist.

The latest theory of why we do things is that what we do we do to survive. Well not really ground breaking there. What is ground breaking is what makes us do it.

Everyone knows all things are made up of DNA. How the DNA is linked together defines what we are.

Now Scientist believe they also define WHO we are.

    Ready for this, its good.

All life fights to live, some life even join together to increase their survival rates - Humans, Elephants, fish etc. Well the idea is that this can be applied to cells and DNA. They have joined forces by creating animals, plants etc.. This has worked as we are on the top of the ladder.

So if the cells/ DNA are working together for their own benefit that then means what we do is for the benefit of the cells/DNA.

This then means we are not doing it for us, as humans or animals.  Thus we are controlled by the cells/DNA.

What the Scientists are saying is that everything we think and do is what the cells/DNA want/need us to do.

Having blown your mind, enjoy the rest of your day.

  • I have a theory that animals who group together are the immature version of their type - like keeping safe in the nest.       The ones who strike out on their own taking all the risks onto themselves are the mature version.

Does that mean that us loner-auties are really mature and our hyper-vigilance is nature keeping us alive - whereas the NTs would be lunch?

  • Yay! Mr Plastic - I am always glad to see You so I  have a go at writing to You on this. The "Theory" You suggest is not a Theory but long-known fact. Mr Aidie examples "Lions": when immature they hang about together until establishing their own territories, then strike out as mature. Most critters (including Humans) do the same thing... once adversity is overcome then "You ARE a  MAN, My Son" sort of thing.  (!)  Also as Mr Aidie hints at, & I too, would recommend reading about it. (As You suggest the "Theory" this suggests an interest in finding more about it.)

Also, keep in mind that mature versions go out and might meet *other* mature versions, and that would be "natural selection" (or luck or divine intervention or whatever.). Some may succeed, some may fail, etc.

...With regards to Loner-Autistics and Allistics (Non-Autistics)... I would like to say as You say, yet the matter of fact is... We live in an Artificial (city) world in order to be defined as "Autistic", so Natural Laws would not often apply.

...or this is just Me, wafflin' about a non-serious matter which I accidentally took as serious. (I  Myself usually try to avoid discussing 'philosophy' or 'fortune' -  because My imagination is waaaaay too high!)

My apologies, again. I always mean what I say, though. Slight smile
