Decision making

I find it hard to make decisions of what to do, even in the smallest of situations.

I'll give you an example..

Situation: My right eye has been sore(dry) and red veins, I also have a pain in jaw underneath my ear, pain in teeth area, back molar top right and low middle. The pain is Dull, like I've just had a tooth out.

Remedy: Bought dry eye drops, took a pain killer tablet(struggled to do this).

The pain continued for another 5 days and still is there, although feels a bit better(the eye is not as sore)...but I have been deliberating what to do, worrying it will not get better and how do I get help  ?

1.) Go to doctors for check up

2.) Go to the Chemist for check up

3.) Keep taking the eye drops

4.) Wait and see if it gets better by itself.

5.) Take another pain killer.

Bottomline, each of those solutions has a people interaction and change stress..., I CAN NOT MAKE A DECISION, I make so many potential variables in my mind and freeze up.

Any advice on decision making, stopping myself from freezing up due to the unknown variables or too many variables.

  • Go to the dentist for a check up ?

use antibacterial mouthwash for a few days ?

My first advice would be to see your GP,

its free and he should be able to say something sensible.

I dont think waiting to see what happens was a bad idea, but as its been going on for a while you should get someone to have a look, probably a doctor or dentist but if you respect a local pharmacist asking their opinion wouldnt be a waste of time.

maybe if you explain to the receptionist you are autistic and dont like waiting rooms she might be able to book you first thing in the morning or after lunch so you can get seen without a wait.

I know the feeling, each choice reduces your options and you have second thoughts and go round in circles but just make a phone call or go out and the decision is over.
