Newly diagnosed

Hello Everyone,

Im new here so hope this is in the right place...

My son is 28, and has only just been diagnosed, even though weve always known, we were always just told 'he just has Learning disabilites'

So in one way im glad i now know, but in another i wish i didnt, its so much info to take in and i dont really know where to start :(   I was told to look on this site for help and support.

So if anyone else out there is in same situation it would be good to chat.

thanks for reading this. Poppy...

  • Not being able to express it is very difficult for me as well.

I usually go to my best freind who also has aspergers which means that there is no social rules for expressing it.

If you have him join anxiousforum I am a mod so can delete anything that offends him, and he can use the vent section to let it out. If he is finding it difficult I will happily help him on there.
