Recent Diagnosis

I, like you have been diagnosed recently with ASD at the ripe old age of 50. I've spent my life as an outsider but have always held down a job, have a great wife and two children but the act of being told about the ASD it has made things in my life both past and present odd. I'm in a job that doesn't understand how I work and appear not to care. I've been in trouble for saying things that others instantly take offence at when I don't see why.  I'll say something that I mean either lightheartedly or as a throw away comment but it gets blown all out of proportion. 

My world just seems so difficult to decipher......
