Hello folks

I used to contribute here and hope it's OK to post a brief announcement or request.  There's an adult autistic choir that is currently recording a song by an autistic composer, and could do with more voices.  This is all done online, although before the current epidemic the choir mostly met in London.

The way these online choirs work (like the one Gareth Malone is doing in lockdown) is that you get an accompaniment or guide track which you sing along to while recording into a phone or other device. Then the various parts are stitched together and it sounds like a choir. Anyone autistic who would like to give it a try is welcome. If interested, please email contact@theautisticadultchoir.com.

    ...The past few years I Myself forget when the Events in Hyde Park are occurring, usually because the Weather is *just too ferlipping HOT* for Me. Now, it is cooler and not so bad... but then now that Coro-Thing prevents outdoor gatherings anyway... typical.  :-/

    (P.S. - People here currently are not so free with the 'UpVote' button as they were when You were first here. And I Myself do not log on as often as I used to. Glad to see You again anyway, Good Fortune 'n all that.   Slight smile )

    Thanks for the informative link, although I'm not too fond of Empires, nor Facebook either. I'll try to get the YouTube link some other way... they probably won't want to publish the Zoom one to avoid Zoombombers (Zoombombing sounds a lot cooler than it actually is).

    I remember you can't stand the heat. Hope you can enjoy nature at the moment.
