Hi, I'm MusicalGoose. I'm 23 and have been on the spectrum since I was about 12 or 13 and over the years Ive developed a few hobbies. My main one is singing and music. I love music, listen to it all day every day and I love singing even more. To be honest I really want to be a singer. Ive lots of ideas and dreams which I've been thinking about over the last few years, I never think about anything else which can cause me to get stressed at times! I want to be a singer more than anything but I really don't know how to make it happen. I'm not especially outgoing but also I'm not sure if my voice is any good either. My family say it is but I don't know whether they're being kind or not. I've considered starting a Youtube but I'm worried in case of online bullying but also Im worried in case I fail and also in case I'm not very good. I've so many ideas and dreams but they all depend upon me being a singer, or making good money another way.
I've read before that some people with Aspergers can have special talents and I'm wondering if this is my special talent? And if it is do you think it's possible for me to make a professional singer or do you think it's a bad idea and I'm wasting my time? I really want to do this but I'm not very smart really and I don't even know what to do or where to start. But a lot depends on this, not just for me but my family as well as we're in a lot of turmoil at the moment.
