Delivery Time Slots

So I should start by saying that I am very literal when it comes to punctuality... if someone gives me a time I take it literally. Last week Morrison’s were 15 minutes late with a home delivery, yesterday Sainsbury's were 75 minutes early and today DHL are supposed to deliver a parcel between 12:20 and 16:20 - its 16:14 and I am already getting crazily worked up because they only text the time slots in the morning so all my plans got changed last minute, leaving me on edge all day, now it looks like they will be late if indeed they deliver at all. Why invent time slots if nobody keeps to them?!?!?!

I don’t think I’m asking anything as the question above I’d rhetorical. I just needed to air this though people are welcome to discuss.  It’s now 16:17 - 3 minutes to go - this isn’t looking good.

  • I’m completely the same Anthony and feel your pain. I had a DHL delivery yesterday. It stressed me out all day. I become almost paralysed waiting for deliveries and can’t seem to function until they deliver. I just kept refreshing the tracking page watching what number delivery they are at. But I don’t trust it as they often then show up at a different time. I have a fear of the dreaded card on the mat and then having to go through it all again. Calling customer service lines is impossible and even worse now.

I do hope you got your parcel.

  • See I didn’t even have that drip number thing on my tracking - just a 4 hour window which they missed. It arrived at 20:12 - should have been here by 16:20 - the anxiety and distress this caused has caused me to have a bit of an upset tummy now... horrible horrible DHL!
