In the midst of coronavirus, I'm worried that Police might confiscate Stimmers from Aspies - in the name of 'Health and Safety.'
Would they? Or does that sound far fetched?

Ahh sorry, I wouldn't know. I find those spinning things highly annoying. I guess people use them for calming themselves, to scratch the itch per se. I dont have that issue. i tend to count to 10, take some deep breaths. it doesnt work sometimes, at which point I just walk away from people.

It's less a situational relief and more a continuous need to be moving and doing something. I've been told off throughout my life for "fidgeting" when really I'm seeking a controlled sensory feedback and use of motor skills in a small but constant way.
I've intentionally avoided buying a fidget spinner because it would annoy people around me far too much.
