If you had to go to a isolated island by your self, and you could only bring 5 thing what would they be?

Think bigger.

A satellite phone, a high-quality campervan, a ruggedised laptop, a container load of MRE rations, and a load of solar panels to provide all the power I need. 

That would suit me.

I wanted to bring my solar panels but the transformer to convert it into 240v ac suitable for plugging in a device would have counted as an extra item out of the 5. Maybe I was overthinking it...
