Speaking on the phone

Do you find it easier or harder speaking on the phone than speaking to people face to face? Does it depend on context? I sometimes prefer speaking on the phone because there is no confusing body language, although in some cases I find it anxiety provoking. What do you think?

  • I am so glad you said this!    I HATE talking on the phone in a social way.  Ugg!   But I work at an ISP and I am able to talk on the phone for work.  I wondered why that was the case... and you just said it.   I know what I need to say and why it must be said.  Even in troubleshooting, I am able to keep a focused plan.  Wow.  That makes sense"
