Speaking on the phone

Do you find it easier or harder speaking on the phone than speaking to people face to face? Does it depend on context? I sometimes prefer speaking on the phone because there is no confusing body language, although in some cases I find it anxiety provoking. What do you think?

  • I find I'm ok on the phone so long as I have a definite 'agenda' to what's happening... I find it all pretty difficult either way though I guess to be honest... but definitely pauses on the phone can be difficult, and knowing when to talk.

Is it only autistics who have these kinds of problem?
