gardening relaxes me. today I planted a load of baby trees which gives me great satisfaction
I'm planting some veg in a small plot. I've done it on and off over the years, so I have an idea what veg will grow, what I will actually eat, what the slugs will eat faster than me, and what is a waste of time. Now I am home, I can keep an eye on the seedlings and not have to start all over again in a month's time
its a skill being able to grow your own food. use beer traps. leave bricks betwen ur veg.. during day check under them for the culprits. i used to go out at 4am to catch them. its literally a war!
