Question time

Agape, I am a little worried about you, your posting style suggest that something slightly deeper might be going in. Do you maybe have a CPN that you can talk to about what is going on at this moment; if you don't you can ask your GP for a referral to your local community mental health team. Sometimes it's good to talk to someone freely and openly with out the worry of how they will think of you after, I have a CPN that I see every few weeks and it find it very helpful. 

I worry a little that your posting stye my cause some people to become annoyed, the last time you had trouble sleeping and started lots of random threads some members found it difficult and asked you not to do it and here you are doing it again; nobody wants to be unkind but some may run out of patience. 

Perhaps if you were to keep your religious thoughts to The Autistic Christian thread rather than start new ones that would help to keep the number of new threads you start down a bit. 

I say this with the best will in the world, I hope you will take it with the good intentions with which it was meant; and because I think a lot of people might not want this to become a thing. 

I don't think it matters that agape wants to post in that style. The person's not said anything wrong. Surely, the one place autistic people should not have to feel confined is on here....just sayin'

I did not in any way say that Agape had done anything wrong but only that I was concerned because of an on going posting stye that suggested that the OP was perhaps struggling in the middle of the night. I feel that I would have been remiss not to show concern.

I am not in any way trying to confine anybody but only making a suggestion because there has to be an element of compromise here, some are finding the forum difficult to use and I care that Agape can express their self in a way that they need to... Just saying.

Honestly, look at the replies I gave to Cloudy, and there *is* a New Thread from Agape. My memory is limited (stressed, tee-hee) so I cannot engage *everyone*...!

that is the person who bothered  Leaf. Her name has since changed. Leaf PMed me that she will be back later and thanked me for my support in the attack. She couldn't cope with the attack across multiple threads. I look forward to Leaf coming back. She was here one month. She did nothing wrong. Oh that reminds me ...... i have my nails to do.

This might be M'last post upon this Thread, until someone else says something. (Or votes Me/Us down??) The thing may be to keep to the topic of a Thread - I have never watched Question Time, and I, also as the OP says, find such things "annoying" especially TV debates when I can offer an answer that would stump all of them which they did not think of even after a half-hour, hour, etc. (Because they are Allistic, perhaps, Mwah-ha.)

Plus it is a Weekend. The amount of downvoting going on here might gain a Moderator to Post their usual thing on the next working day. (e.g. - "Be Nice!")

To finish my post, to all reading, I kind of say... check out Agape's newer Thread about it - please!

I think You should not say "buddy" to folk unless You know them quite well - it seems daft, but it is so true that it could start yet another Thread. I getcalled "love" by some store clerks and it really gets up my... whatever it gets up! But I know it is acceptable to many! Maybe I am saying just be careful, okay...)

Exactly there is no problem! Agape and Leaf have all rights to post here! It's seems like saying everyone is welcome is the wrong thing for some, hence the reaction. Shame really.

Yes all of those comments were addressed to you. Not Leaf. We had spoke, and sorted it out. I don't see how I addressed you has any relation to Leaf. Making it seem so is dishonest and misrepresentative in my opinion.

Um...Greetings, "Aldie"... I am an old poster yet new poster to this Thread. "Chill out" and "whatever you say buddy" are the Cloudy Mountains that those of us who are used to seeing Cloudy Mountains forming over the mountains are used to...? Agape has begun a Thread upon which I wrote a long comment upon - and tried to say Well of You - so Agape is hopefully getting comfortable here as well - as You rightfully pointed out.

Probably My posting here is to try to divide or prevent further aggravating. If anyone else has any questions or confusions (or hatred??) try SPECIFYING the problem, either There or in Your own New Thread.

Voting Down is not good - please explain reasons why, first. Yet if the person SAYS that they do not care, then that is maybe a time to vote down. Do not vote down because of the User or a word or two out of context of all else posted.

True enough, what You say about "downvoting", was what I (also tried to say) said somewhere here as well. One of Your replies near the top, has <>5 voters, yet only currently shows a +1.  It is not easy to know who is voting up or down (Mr.WebPM might know), but I shall say that I for one was an upvoter. As it stands, Your voted up/down/up/down/up reply is a good example of how weird things can sometimes go upon here... but...

NO it is not always like this! So Please bear with it, as You said there, calm and observing, stick to One's own principles. As You defend Yourself, then that is a good thing. When REAL Trolls or "nasty" people appear, then many of us can recognise them after a bit since they are *consistently* nasty. Sometimes they target a single User, sometimes they just downvote silently.

Also, a person not knowing how to use this Forum, may seem nasty at first, yet be willing to learn. I keep saying that all this should be said upon Agape's Newer Thread, but I put it here as You say You are New and I wanted to Thank You for the reply.

Multiple posts in one day from only one or 2 Users is usually a SPAM thing, which partly explains the "bot" accusations and why people here are a bit jumpy about it. I hope You get what I mean. (Sheesh this is a long reply...)

I'm Mrs JR. I changed my user name because everyone seems to be using pseudonyms. If you look back through the thread, I was standing up for agape because I thought he/she was being treated in an unwelcome way by the person called Leaf. I could see that Cloudy Mountain also felt the same way.

A couple of points: I'm Aspergers. I had a late diagnosis this year. I'm 55.

I only joined the community on here this week and straight away felt unwelcome.

One of my Master's Degrees was in Strategic HR where I researched bullying in the work place. I am very anti-bullying and think everyone should be kind. I don't like unhelpful rules like telling agape not post too many threads. That's up to the moderators not Aidie or Leaf or anyone else.

I notice there is a lot of 'down-voting' on comments but without reasons why which seems very hostile and led me to the conclusion that the environment might be a bit 'trolly'.

I also noticed in one of your posts below that you said there are nasty people - I don't know who you are referring to but I hope it's not me.

I might be waiting for AGAPE to respond, as the OP of both Threads. Agape seems fine, just learning, as I did when I first came here. (As I said, I almost got thrown off!) You are also fine... but what I referred to were the massive downvoters upon this Thread.

There are lots of Threads here which have been started, gone off at a tangent, and then massively downvoted, then the Moderators say something, then the Thread recovers...

The problem is/was random "downvoters" or persons who hijack a thread irrespective of the Starting subject. 

Sometimes a Thread can recover. Like I said, I can really only wait. (If anyone downvotes ME that is a good indicator --- not to brag or anything... !!!?!!)

P.S. All else reading... when at school, An All-Girls school, some could spit and I could not! Go figure...!
