Thank you. My new thread that DC referred to is called New threads-rule if anyone would like to contribute in this more suitable thread for such a topic as this thread has turned into.

True enough, what You say about "downvoting", was what I (also tried to say) said somewhere here as well. One of Your replies near the top, has <>5 voters, yet only currently shows a +1.  It is not easy to know who is voting up or down (Mr.WebPM might know), but I shall say that I for one was an upvoter. As it stands, Your voted up/down/up/down/up reply is a good example of how weird things can sometimes go upon here... but...

NO it is not always like this! So Please bear with it, as You said there, calm and observing, stick to One's own principles. As You defend Yourself, then that is a good thing. When REAL Trolls or "nasty" people appear, then many of us can recognise them after a bit since they are *consistently* nasty. Sometimes they target a single User, sometimes they just downvote silently.

Also, a person not knowing how to use this Forum, may seem nasty at first, yet be willing to learn. I keep saying that all this should be said upon Agape's Newer Thread, but I put it here as You say You are New and I wanted to Thank You for the reply.

Multiple posts in one day from only one or 2 Users is usually a SPAM thing, which partly explains the "bot" accusations and why people here are a bit jumpy about it. I hope You get what I mean. (Sheesh this is a long reply...)

Yes agree. I can't see anything offensive and not sure why it's being attributed to either of us. I think what happened basically is that we stood up for Agape. Best wishes, Mesmerist aka MrsJR.

I'm Mrs JR. I changed my user name because everyone seems to be using pseudonyms. If you look back through the thread, I was standing up for agape because I thought he/she was being treated in an unwelcome way by the person called Leaf. I could see that Cloudy Mountain also felt the same way.

A couple of points: I'm Aspergers. I had a late diagnosis this year. I'm 55.

I only joined the community on here this week and straight away felt unwelcome.

One of my Master's Degrees was in Strategic HR where I researched bullying in the work place. I am very anti-bullying and think everyone should be kind. I don't like unhelpful rules like telling agape not post too many threads. That's up to the moderators not Aidie or Leaf or anyone else.

I notice there is a lot of 'down-voting' on comments but without reasons why which seems very hostile and led me to the conclusion that the environment might be a bit 'trolly'.

I also noticed in one of your posts below that you said there are nasty people - I don't know who you are referring to but I hope it's not me.

...Um, sorry to bother You again, but which Thread(s) do you mean? I kind of wanted both of these Threads (from Agape) to continue? Agape, as Cloudy said, was having trouble settling in.

I might be waiting for AGAPE to respond, as the OP of both Threads. Agape seems fine, just learning, as I did when I first came here. (As I said, I almost got thrown off!) You are also fine... but what I referred to were the massive downvoters upon this Thread.

There are lots of Threads here which have been started, gone off at a tangent, and then massively downvoted, then the Moderators say something, then the Thread recovers...

The problem is/was random "downvoters" or persons who hijack a thread irrespective of the Starting subject. 

Sometimes a Thread can recover. Like I said, I can really only wait. (If anyone downvotes ME that is a good indicator --- not to brag or anything... !!!?!!)

P.S. All else reading... when at school, An All-Girls school, some could spit and I could not! Go figure...!

Thank You Aldie. Please calm down everyone who is currently posting (!). Yes it is a shame about Leaf and that there are nasty people who often post. Honestly, look at the replies I gave to Cloudy, and there *is* a New Thread from Agape. My memory is limited (stressed, tee-hee) so I cannot engage *everyone*...!

I always vote up, but with Threads where no-one is voting, I might hang back a bit. Thanks for reading.
