Initial assessment

hi all, this might be a bit strange or perhaps others have experience this. I had a initial assessment which lasted an hour

it began with a risk assessment followed by a 14 question questionnaire, during this I talked a little about myself and my parents and partner all added stories and examples and experiences that display traits of autism. However I received a letter which says I’m not autistic I do not agree with this and I’m wondering if should get a second opinion I just feel that a questionnaire isn’t personal enough to assess a person.

So should I seek a second opinion And what happens when you do if anyone else has experience any advice would be a great help

thanks

  • I really don’t even know what this assessment was to be honest! The answer options don’t even seem similar to any of the usual screening questionnaires such as the AQ10, the EQ10 or even the AQ50 or the NT/ND score. What were some of the 14 questions? I’m going to look on google to see if I can find it but it really doesn’t seem like anything that I’ve ever come across before!
