Initial assessment

hi all, this might be a bit strange or perhaps others have experience this. I had a initial assessment which lasted an hour

it began with a risk assessment followed by a 14 question questionnaire, during this I talked a little about myself and my parents and partner all added stories and examples and experiences that display traits of autism. However I received a letter which says I’m not autistic I do not agree with this and I’m wondering if should get a second opinion I just feel that a questionnaire isn’t personal enough to assess a person.

So should I seek a second opinion And what happens when you do if anyone else has experience any advice would be a great help

thanks

  • Thanks again my partner and I total agree as everybody is different the questions were statements and I had to answer always, never, only as a child, only as an adult which I was then told not to think hard or debate it but how can I not I’ve got like a million situations going on in my mind and I was trying to find a situation where the “correct” answer applied which might sound silly but I’m an over thinker always have been

    thanks
