Virtual Jukebox

Today I've been relaxing by playing music I listened to in the past (my youth!)

Here's one such song (Supertramp: Logical Song) https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ukKQw578Lm8

Do reply with a song you liked listening to... we can turn this thread into a virtual jukebox!

  • Sad to hear Pete Shelley has died at such a young age.

Here are the Buzzcocks with Ever Fallen in Love:

  • Yes sad indeed, I was sixteen when that was on tv, feels just like yesterday. Sat in front of the tv waiting to see who was number one in the hits, there was only one top ten back then.

Top of the pops sold out when the artists were forbidden to play or sing and told to mime.

Some did rebel by making it sooo very obvious they weren’t actually playing it live.

a real shame as it had varied types of artist.

My very best favourite tv music programme was The Old Grey Whistle Test. That had new unknown artists as well as top artists playing one after the other.

Thank you sunflower for waking this fantastic thread up.

It brings joy to so many , me included. () take care.
