    Yes, sure you're right - I was recognised as being one of the gang by a lovely autistic woman (service user) I worked with a few years ago. As none of the staff in the autism service said anything to me I assumed i wasn't, but then most of them were NT. I dropped my mask quite a bit while I was working there. I found the working environment problematic for the same reasons as some service users. Clutter, noise, lighting, labyrinthine layout, passive aggression from one of the receptionists. Would be interesting to know if actually autistic clinicians are better at diagnosis.
