In the UK, I think technically your GP should be able to refer you for assessment, but I think what provision there is for that varies from place to place. To make that conversation productive I'd suggest you need to do some "homework" first. You want to try and make a compelling case for why you think this might be impacting you. You can pre-complete the adult AQ and EQ tests that you can find here:

with the scoring criteria. I'd also do some research around autistic "symptoms" and have a bit of a life history put together with examples of where you think you've had difficulties in life as a result of having these "symptoms" and how this might explain any difficulties you've suffered, such as repeat depression etc.
