Hi all,
My 9 year old son was diagnosed with dyspraxia 18 months ago which we've just got sorted with school etc and within the last few day has been diagnosed with autism (would have been aspergers under old system).
Not really sure where to start. The assessment gave us this website for information resources and has recommended psychoeducation for the family to understand ASD.
My son also has to have treatment for his anxiety which is quite severe.
Not really sure where we go from here. Haven't told my son about the diagnosis yet, though we will soon.
We just wanted to get more information and some resources for him to read, possibly written by other children who suffer with ASD.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
Thank you.
