I went to my GP to begin the process of being diagnosed with Asperger’s. She looked into referring me but then discovered that due to austerity cuts, Stockport NHS has got rid of the adult diagnosis service but I could try and find a local psychologist.
Can anyone in the North-west offer any advice which would help me towards a formal diagnosis, or know of any service I could access please?
