Hi all,
I'm a 36 year old woman, married with 2 kids. I've always been different, and half wondered about ASD, but just ignored it. I did some of the online tests. Ignored them. It wasn't until I was chatting to some friends (including one who diagnoses ASD in children!) and they mentioned it that I did some of the tests. Waaay over the threshold. I did some more. I did the same tests again. Same results. I asked a couple of online friends about the next stage and they had also wondered- these are people who I've never met!
I'm thinking about getting a formal diagnosis as I think it would help me, but I'm finding it a bit daunting!
Anyway, that's me.
Hello, I would say go for it, it isn't as bad as it seems the process of getting diagnosed, I was in November aged 45. For me a diagnosis has been helpful.
