17 year old Autistic who is gay and hates being alive.

Hello I’m just at a loss as what to do to help my daughter.  She left school in year 10 as she couldn’t cope with being at school.  Consequently she has spent the last 18 months at home with myself and her Dad.  She has no friends except for 1 boy from school that she chats to occasionally.  Recently she got a part time job working in the restaurant at out local hotel.  She experienced some animosity from a couple of the girls there and it immediately took her back to her school days.  She went back the next day and came home was sick and passed out.  She didn’t go back.

she is now in a very low place and often says she can’t do life anymore and she’s not built for life.  She feels and looks different to everyone around where we live (we live in a small village) I desperately want to help her but my suggestions seem to make her mad.  I’m at a loss as what to do.  Our life is awful we cannot plan anything and when we do we have to cancel.  The sense of disappointment and sadness is now causing issues in our Marriage as we sometimes clash over our thoughts on how to handle things.  We have embraced our daughter being Gay and we are taking her to Bristol pride in July so that she can see that she isn’t different and there are lots of young people out there just like her.  She does go climbing with her dad but she takes it so seriously and gets mad if she can’t climb a certain route.  I can see that she is hurting and I’m so scared for her future and I cannot see how we can ever improve things for her.

I guess what I’m looking for is lived experience of anyone that has been through something similar.  I would like to get done specialist counseling for her and also for me and our partner.  We have had such a strong and happy marriage up until recently but I can see things are changing.  But all of this counseling is costly and I’m just not sure if anyone knows anywhere where we can get any help.  I just need some light at the end of the tunnel for our daughter and us.
Thank you for taking the time to read this x
