Could I be autistic?

Hi everyone,

I'm new here - first time posting.

I don't know if I'm autistic or not. No diagnosis, no idea really. But I've been wondering.

Thing is... I've lived at home with my parents my whole life. Never moved out. Never had a girlfriend. Never had real friends - not ones that last. I only go out when I absolutely have to - like dentist appointments or groceries. That's it. No walks, no coffee runs, no "just popping out". I stay in, do my own stuff, It's easier. The outside world feels... loud. And pointless.

Is that a sign? Or am I just... like this?

Not asking you to tell me what I am - just wondering if anyone else felt the same. Thanks.

    What you described is common experience in autistic community,  however nobody here can confirm it, only a professional can do it. It's worth exploring. Maybe someone here can advise you a book about autism (I red one partially,  it was in german, this book was published only in Germany). You can also try some tests like AQ50, RAADS,  aspie quiz, read mind in the eyes test. Tge results may give you some insight. You can print the results and show them to GP ir therapist. 

    You can stay in this forum also without the official diagnosis. This place is very special to me because it gives me sense of belonging. I wish you find support here too.
