What games do women enjoy

I have a Xbox, ps5 and Samsung tablet but struggling to find good games to play to keep me entertained as I’m easily bored. I love colouring, Jiqsaw and stimulation games like sims. I love Forza horizon where it’s open world and the wheel spin feature looking forward to the new one coming out this year. But yeah any games similar to stuff like this or recommendations would be appreciated Slight smile

  • Have you tried board games—physical and/or online? I got into them last year and totally hooked. Joined a board game group, worked out socialising was much easier there and was introduced to online board gaming on www.boardgamearena.com

  • I don't do groups, I'm a klutz with tech and I'm really not competitive and get really freaked out by peopke who are.

I was an only child and like many only children, I was often given board games as xmas and birthday presents, so as I had something to play with when my friends came round. My parents, like so many other parents of only children would then complain that the board games were never played with, so I sort of learned to play versions of them by myself, although I found you can't play very many of them by yourself, especially monopoly.

  • I love board games, there are some now that recognise you can't always get someone to play with and so have systems that let you play them yourself which is cool. Wingspan is one of them, but I mainly like to look at the cards which have pictures of birds.I get addicted to buying all the add ons, even if I haven't played them, to get all the different birds of the world (and I got a fish one called finspan). And I got the dragon one, wyrmspan for my daughter, who doesn't like playing games by the rules, but likes looking and laying out the cards.

  • Sorry I've caused so much confusion. I was talking to you  , I was trying to comment that board games have evolved some what, and if you were a child growing up now, you would have a lot more options.

Though I wasn't really expecting you to be too interested in them now, as I didn't think they would be your thing, especially as it's called playing against an automaton, and I'm sure you'd get annoyed at the rules and manage to break the 'computer' player, even if it's just a bunch of cards. Best wishes to Fern maybe they'll make a doggy board game sometime.

    (Sorry for making it weird).

  • Oh I thought you were talking to me, sorry. It's good that there are more games for people to play alone and I agree about the being online being good and bad.
