Study: Experiences of South Asian autistic women in the UK

Note: This account only posts external research that has been approved by the NAS research team.

This study is being conducted by Shejmin Akhtar, a Trainee Clinical Psychologist at the University of Liverpool.

The research aims to explore the experiences of South Asian women in the UK who were diagnosed or self-identify as autistic in adulthood. The project involved a short screening call followed by one-hour online interview to hear about your experiences. Participants will also receive a £20 voucher as compensation for their time and effort.

If you are interested in taking part and would like to hear more about the study, please contact the lead researcher: shejmin.akhtar@liverpool.ac.uk.
