Hello everyone, 

I’m recently diagnosed with autism and would really like to meet some like minded people just to chat to really. I’ve always struggled to make friends but I’m feeling quite alone after my diagnosis. I’m from a small town where it’s hard to meet people anyway. How do people make friends as an adult?

    I’ve had about the same core group of friends since undergrad about a dozen years ago, so I actually don’t have much advice on finding new friends.

    However, I also came from a tiny town (population around 300), so I can totally relate to the isolation you might be feeling. Most of my friends growing up were in my N64 and GameCube games lol.
