I'm 24 and looking to meet some friends :)

Hello, I am Hope and I am 24 years old, on my way to 25 this December. I have just been diagnosed with Autism no more than a month ago now. Life can be a battle every day with feeling frustration, anger, feeling low and many more emotions. I also have throughout my life felt very lonely, I have never kept the same friend ever since way back as play school. I have been abandoned every time without fail. Sometimes I have had to put an end to a friendship for the sake of my mental health, but for the most part they have left me. I really hope to find a friend or friends who are genuine and can relate to me and my life and who will genuinely want to hang out with me. Now that I finally feel I have found my place in the world though getting my diagnosis, maybe now through this forum, I might just meet the right friend/friends.

  •  Hi there

    Welcome to the community forum.

I’m a 41-year-old woman in the UK who enjoys various hobbies.

I love reading short stories and capturing moments through photography, especially sunrises, sunsets, flowers, and old buildings.

I attend a relaxed women’s group where I can choose activities. I enjoy the arts and crafts sessions and some of the talks, but I’m careful about those trying to sell pricey courses. It’s a nice way to meet people, have snacks, and chat in a friendly atmosphere.

Unfortunately, I'd abandoned some people due to being uncomfortable.

NB: I wouldn't have a profile picture. You could change the photo of what you like to do. For example, if you like football, a picture of a football.
