Pre going out

Hi guys! I have recently been thinking about plans I can put in place to help myself before going out for the day with my friends (something that really drains my social battery). I often go into sensory overload in these situations and can feel very anxious and overwhelmed. To make sure I can enjoy myself as much as I can, I am trying to put together a routine for the day before and morning of such days with my friends. Does anyone have any suggestions or things that have helped them? So far, I was thinking laying out my outfit the night before and getting a good night’s sleep (after maybe doing some relaxing activities). Also, if anyone has any suggestions for self-regulation when I am out with my friends too that would be really helpful as well. :) Thank you in advance for your help.
