Lorna Wing autism assessment - 17 year old girl - waiting times

Hello!

My family and I are thinking of going down the private route for a diagnosis as the NHS waiting times are really long, but were wondering what a private assessment wait time is like and can’t find any information? The Lorna Wing centre has been recommended to us by CAMHS and just wondered if anyone knows what their wait times are like?

Their wait times can be long but worth the wait IMHO.

They are very professional and they don't cut corners. You are their only concern and they will be patient, kind and understanding whilst still offering a professionalism which you've likely never had anywhere else.

I was diagnosed through them and I have no complaints whatsoever. The experience was perfect.

I suggest you give them a call or email for advice, they can talk you through everything. If you do go with them, I guarantee you will not regret it. :)
