First time post - husband to suspected autistic wife

Hi. My wife soon turns 40 and the stresses of the pandemic brought to light the likelihood that she’s neurodiverse. Our kids (9yr girl, 7yr boy) have already started the processes of getting assessed through the NHS but she wants to get assessed for a number of reasons. 

I don’t know where to start, we live in West Sussex. Please can someone help as it’s very stressful for us all especially her and she’s loathed to do anything like join a forum like this or speak on the phone etc. 

what can I do and what are our options please?
